Dinner – Monday Night, September 30, 2013

  1. Salisbury Steak
  2. Roasted Potatoes
  3. Southern Buttermilk Biscuits
  4. Frozen French Cut Green Beans

I love my cafeteria-style food, and while I was making this, I watched Seinfeld, Will & Grace and The Daily Show.  Of course, if I had the TV off and the computer wasn’t on the counter, things would have gone a lot faster, but no big whoop!

Epicurious.com didn’t have a plain salisbury steak recipe, so in the parking lot of the grocery store I googled “Salisbury Steak” and the first hit was this one from allrecipes.com

There’s actually a how-to video.

As much as I love mashers (especially the ones from a box), I figured the steak would be too heavy, so I opted for roasted potatoes (no recipe required)

Roasted Potatoes

I had the ground beef and beans in the freezer and all I needed was a can of French Onion Soup, a couple of potatoes and some buttermilk.

Now I need a brownie and another glass of ice cold milk.

I wish Ray Donovan wasn’t over for the season.  There’s nothing on!
